Dear Followers of the Lord Jesus:
May the Lord richly bless you, one and all.
In my personal walk with God, I have learned that what I am about to share with you is very helpful in maintaining a healthy devotional life. The fact is that God’s gracious treatment of us is so easily forgotten in time, so I have made it a practice to record on a blank page what God has done in by behalf, or for someone I have been praying for, so that I will not forget all His benefits. By spending a little time reading these Bible passages, grouped under a different subject for every day of the week, I can then reflect, add to the list, and then be ready to share with someone something of the grace and mercies the Lord has brought my way. First there is a grouping of Bible passages which show the importance of keeping a record of God’s loving kindness towards us, then for the Sunday portion we consider Divine Ability, for Monday, Divine Deliverance from Temptation, for Tuesday, Divine Direction, for Wednesday, Divine Healing, for Thursday, Divine Caretaker, for Friday, Divine Presence, for Sabbath, Divine Protector. Following each of these separate day’s readings, I encourage you to place a blank sheet on which you can record, the times when God has come through for you, to ensure that His mercies are not forgotten. What follows is the material in English and then separately, in Spanish.
